Our Urgent Care is located at 888 South Rancho Drive and provides patient care 24/7. This role will report to the Director of Nursing Services and works collaboratively with Physicians. Gives direction to support staff members of the Urgent Care/COU care team. Works cooperatively with team physicians and Clinic Operations Management. Supports the overall vision of a Positive Patient Experience by achieving a positive balance of healthcare, cost outcomes and patient satisfaction. Facilitates excellent customer satisfaction while achieving team and division specific financial goals. Supports the Urgent Care and/or COU team by providing leadership and promoting collaboration with internal and external team members. Ensures standards of care are implemented and compliance with all state and federal regulations, standards of practice, and company policies and procedures.�



Primary Responsibilities:�


  • Responsible for the coordination and quality of care of patients in Urgent Care and/or COU/TC

  • Implementation of programs designed to meet overall organizational goals

  • Participate in the interview, selection, orientation and development of clinical staff

  • Supervise/evaluate/educate clinical licensed and non-licensed staff for compliance with all SMA, Optum and UHG policies and procedures, state and federal regulations, and standards of practice

  • Ensure and participate in the development and implementation of patient centered care plans

  • Ensure communication and coordination of patient care needs to primary care team

  • Provides direct patient care includes working flexed hours between weekends and weekdays as needed

  • Accountable for completion of referral process

  • Participates in community outreach programs

  • Participates in employee community council

  • Support and implements new processes, supporting clinic and business initiatives

  • Identifies and develops education/orientation plan for staff

  • Effectively communicates and engages employees

  • Conduct and engage lean standards & audits in workflow

  • Manage patient concerns for improved experience

  • Review and manage staffing, quality reviews and interpersonal conflicts

Required Qualifications:�


  • Unrestricted, unencumbered and active RN License in the State of NV

  • 5+ years of progressive and relevant nursing experience in various settings, including: ER, Urgent Care, ICU/IMC, or other critical settings

  • 3+ years of progressive nursing management experience in an ER/Urgent Care/Critical Care setting

Preferred Qualifications:�


  • Bachelor?s degree or higher in nursing, healthcare, or other related field

  • Familiarity with LEAN or other project management methodologies

Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Nevada residents is $88,000 to $173,200 annually.
